Amy Winehouse Statue and Exhibition Announced

A statue of singer Amy Winehouse has been given the go ahead to be built in Camden, North London. The statue will stand on the balcony of the Roundhouse, a music centre. It is hoped that fans will visit the statue, rather than the Camden home where the 27 year old died after accidently drinking too much. The statue will show Amy in a short dress with her typical voluminous beehive. This is what the statue, designed by Scott Eaton, will look like:

It's also been revealed that an exhibition of Amy Winehouse's life is to open in July at London's Jewish Museum  The exhibition will include previously unseen family photos of Amy, some of her outfits, her first guitar and some of her record collection.
